Duchovny Agrees To Appear In 'X-FIles' Finale
David Duchovny has agreed to appear in the upcoming two-hour series finale of the long-running Fox drama "The X-Files." As part of the deal, he will also direct one of the final episodes of the series.
There aren't any details about how Duchovny's character Fox Mulder will return to the series, the network is promising that the final five episodes of the show will answer many of the questions from the show's nine seasons, including whether or not Scully's baby is human.
The two-hour series finale of "The X-Files" will premiere on May 19th, 2002 and will be directed by Kim Manners and written by "X-Files" creator Chris Carter. It will air opposite the season finale of CBS's "Survivor: Marquesas."
