'Bachelor' Sean Lowe And New Fiance Plan TV Wedding

This season's Bachelor Sean Lowe proposed to Catherine on the season finale of "The Bachelor" Monday night. And according to the couple, they don't plan to wait long to get married.
During the live "After The Rose" program, which aired directly after the finale, Lowe told host Chris Harrison that while the couple haven't set a date, they are planning to be married soon. They are also hoping to be married on TV and are currently negotiating with ABC on a wedding special.
Only three previous Bachelor or Bachelorettes have gotten married to the person they proposed to on the show, and all of those marriages resulted in a TV special.
On December 6th, 2003, Bachelorette star Trista Ryan married Ryan Sutter and the wedding became the three-part special "Trista & Ryan's Wedding." In 2010, Bachelor star Jason Mesnick married second choice Molly Malaney as part of the two-hour special "The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding." In December 2012, Bachelorette Ashley Hebert married J.P. Rodenbaum in a televised special officiated by host Chris Harrison.
If Sean and Catherine do make it down the aisle -- and back in front of the TV cameras -- they will be only the fourth Bachelor franchise couple to do so. In December 2012, Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert married J.P. Rosenbaum in Pasadena, in a ceremony officiated by Harrison, and, yes, televised on ABC.
Bachelor star Jason Mesnick married his second choice, Molly Malaney, on a two-hour special called The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding, which aired on March 8, 2010, on ABC.
The very first successful wedding was that of Bachelorette star Trista Rehn, who married Ryan Sutter on Dec. 6, 2003. The wedding became a three-episode special called Trista & Ryan's Wedding on ABC.
